Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud)

Location: On-site in the Melville, New York office during normal business hours; participation in an after-hours on-call rotation is required. Travel is approximately 10% overall and may increase during projects.

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Maintain reliable site infrastructure covering networking, wireless, virtualization, storage, and backup environments.
• Plan and execute network and server upgrades, hybrid cloud and data center architecture, Active Directory upgrades, Office 365 migrations, and disaster recovery activities.
• Support Oracle Cloud and Microsoft Azure architecture and evaluate cloud microservices solutions.
• Manage Oracle and Red Hat Linux lifecycles, automation, patching, troubleshooting, and CUPS print services.
• Lead infrastructure integration projects for acquisitions, including Office 365, server, LAN, and SD-WAN migrations.
• Maintain monitoring, asset management, and reporting toolsets while supporting global infrastructure performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience with on-premises networking, servers, storage, virtualization, Windows and Linux administration, and enterprise project implementation.
• Experience with Ansible, Oracle Management Hub, Oracle Linux lifecycle management, and automation.
• Proficiency with VMware vSphere, Cisco Meraki networking, SD-WAN, Microsoft networking, Active Directory, DNS, and security.
• Strong knowledge of Veeam Backup & Replication, Synology and Dell PowerVault storage, and Dell server platforms.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple requests, and participate in the on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud, Microsoft SQL Server, ITIL, and ITSM methodologies.
• MCSE or other relevant certifications and continuing education.
