New York Technology Consulting Intern - 2027

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid work with in-person work in the local office and on client sites. Interns must be available to work in the designated location during business hours for the entire internship.

What you will do

• Collaborate with consulting teams to deliver client-focused solutions to complex business and technology problems.
• Support business platform transformation, application strategy, development, program execution, and cloud infrastructure initiatives.
• Analyze, govern, visualize, and interpret data for analytics, machine learning, AI, and automation use cases.
• Contribute to cybersecurity, privacy, technology risk, resilience, and vulnerability management engagements.
• Support technology strategy, architecture, Microsoft ecosystem, ERP, and system implementation projects.
• Prepare documentation, synthesize research, communicate findings, and explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technology, data, engineering, mathematics, or information systems discipline.
• Authorization to work in the United States for hirify.global without sponsorship now or in the future is required.
• Must be within one year of final graduation at the time of the internship and available to work in the designated New York City location.
• Advanced verbal and written communication, critical thinking, analytical, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical proficiency aligned with the assigned capability area, including data, databases, cybersecurity, cloud, ERP, risk, or technology strategy.
• Experience using AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Copilot or generative AI.

Nice to have

• Programming experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, SSRS, or other business intelligence tools.
• Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Teradata, or other database management systems.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP, ERP platforms, cybersecurity concepts, or technology risk frameworks.
• Experience with data cleaning, model support, automation, or AI-related data work.
