LabVIEW/MATLAB Test Engineer

Location: Mountain View, California, United States; onsite

Salary: $135,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop and debug test equipment, executable software, and test code.
• Build user-friendly software for testing equipment and acquire and manipulate data using hardware.
• Design software architecture and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to deploy systems into production and resolve test-code issues.
• Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders and document new and existing designs.

Requirements

• Experience with LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, and C#.
• Experience learning, managing, and updating existing code for sustaining test systems.
• Experience developing test systems for new products and adapting them to manufacturing needs using DFX techniques.
• Strong technical writing, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to evaluate risks and tradeoffs, present solution options to management, and influence schedules.
• Strong computer skills, including CAD, word processing, and spreadsheets.
