Test Engineer II (Electrical Test)

Salary: $80,000–$105,000 per year, based on experience, skills, and education

What you will do

• Support and occasionally lead test projects from design and development through training and production release.
• Develop test processes, plans, procedures, programs, electrical and mechanical fixtures, and testing devices.
• Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot test systems, circuits, components, harnesses, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Prepare test reports with data analysis, validation, and verification results.
• Perform test incident, failure, and root-cause analysis; implement and verify corrective actions.
• Support test readiness reviews and collaborate with stakeholders on product-line testing.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, plus at least three years of closely related technical experience with mechanical engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes, Hi-Pot testers, and cable harness testers.
• Experience with EMI, RF, analog, and digital circuits, production test systems, and hardware testing for volume manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret schematics, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and Mil-Spec standards; use precision measuring devices and fabricate close-tolerance fixtures.
• Knowledge of testing equipment, data acquisition, manufacturing processes, quality systems, and C, C++, and/or LabVIEW.
• Must meet ITAR export-control requirements and qualify as a U.S. person: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, political asylee, or refugee.
