MEP Superintendent

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States; requires on-site construction work, travel to project sites, and availability for long-term out-of-town assignments.

Estimated pay: $87,000.00–$167,000.00 per year.

What you will do

• Manage on-site construction activities, field operations, productivity, quality, schedules, budgets, and reporting.
• Coordinate trade contractors, suppliers, tools, equipment, materials, inspections, and project documentation.
• Develop and maintain site-specific safety and quality control plans, lead safety meetings, and correct jobsite hazards.
• Work with the Project Manager, owner, design team, government agencies, and other stakeholders to execute project goals.
• Provide technical expertise during pre-construction, constructability reviews, estimating, procurement, scheduling, and close-out planning.
• Support business development through presentations, proposals, client relationships, and industry participation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of directly related experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent with 10+ years of directly related experience.
• Proficiency with construction management and project software, including Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of building plans and specifications, value engineering, life cycle costing, safety compliance, and project execution.
• Current or attainable OSHA 30 certification and compliance with company safety requirements.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied climate conditions and perform physical activities including climbing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and repetitive motion; occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds is required.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, integrity, and relationship-building skills.
