Superintendent (Construction)

Location: Onsite at Fort Lewis, Washington, USA; requires driving between project sites and occasional travel.

Salary: $75,756–$126,236 annually.

What you will do

• Oversee construction site operations from planning through completion and coordinate with the Project Manager on scope development.
• Supervise subcontractors, vendors, resources, and daily job site activities to meet contract requirements and project milestones.
• Develop, review, and update construction schedules while tracking progress against completion dates.
• Lead daily safety inspections and enforce company, contract, government, HSEQ, OSHA, and USACE standards.
• Prepare daily project reports, manage punch-list completion, and support project closeout.
• Control site requirements including noise and dust, utility shutdowns, and uninterrupted owner operations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in construction with a commercial or industrial general contractor.
• Experience managing vendors, subcontractors, time, and other project resources under tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, adaptability, flexibility, and professional judgment.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is highly desired.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment authorization is verified through E-Verify.
