Location: Los Angeles, CA; onsite, full-time

Annual salary: $110,500–$165,700

What you will do

• Supervise construction projects and coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and direct-hire work.
• Prepare and maintain CPM schedules, plan materials and tools, and manage supply requirements.
• Enforce safety procedures, verify subcontractor insurance certificates, and maintain quality-control standards.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals; lead or attend pre-job and subcontractor meetings.
• Prepare time sheets, work orders, daily reports, and invoice approvals while managing punch lists.
• Coordinate start-up testing, owner turnover, final close-out, and acceptance.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive supervisory field-construction experience.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor certification, or ability to obtain it within six months and maintain active certification.
• Working knowledge of all construction crafts and specifications, plus experience as a foreman, journeyman, or project engineer.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Strong problem-solving skills and sense of urgency; ability to travel and supervise multiple projects across a large geographic area.
