MEP Assistant Superintendent (Construction)

Location: Seattle, WA, United States; willingness to travel required.

Base salary: $79,200–$132,000 per year. Compensation may vary in other cities and states.

What you will do

• Support the project MEP Superintendent with field inspections, progress updates, site coordination, and project meetings.
• Assist with mechanical and electrical trade bidding, submittal review, vendor coordination, and equipment delivery tracking.
• Develop and update MEP critical-path schedules and coordinate construction, startup, and project logistics.
• Support quality control, conflict resolution, equipment inspections, system pretesting, and startup activities.
• Coordinate third-party commissioning and manage commissioning documentation and project closeout.
• Maintain required project documentation and adherence to safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of commercial construction experience, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, problem-solving, and independent-work skills.
• Ability to build and lead a team, recognize quality requirements, and use computer and software technology effectively.
• Willingness to work in Seattle and travel as required.
