Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

What you will do

• Design, develop, and analyze complex mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging from concept through deployment.
• Lead drafting, prototyping, and documentation activities for detailed mechanical drawings, packaging documentation, and functional prototypes.
• Perform hands-on testing, experimental design, and data analysis to validate concepts and refine designs.
• Support manufacturing by developing equipment, tooling, and production solutions, including installation and debugging.
• Establish safety, maintenance, and service standards and contribute to design reviews, proposals, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, production, and other engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 6–10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Demonstrated experience designing and analyzing mechanical systems, machinery, and packaging.
• Expertise in mechanical engineering principles, structural analysis, thermal management, and CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of materials, GD&T, design requirements, and production tooling.
• Ability to apply engineering judgment, communicate with diverse audiences, and collaborate across functions.
