What you will do

• Define the vision and strategy for the Engineering & Construction LatAm Wholesale portfolio and drive profitable growth.
• Own portfolio profit and loss, apply global risk appetite, and ensure disciplined risk selection.
• Provide technical leadership on engineering and construction risks, emerging technologies, and market trends.
• Build strategic relationships with corporate clients and brokers across Latin America.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting standards and risk management frameworks.
• Develop innovative insurance solutions for evolving engineering, construction, and renewable energy needs.

Requirements

• University degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, or process engineering, or comparable education with a strong connection to the engineering and construction industry.
• At least 5 years of professional engineering experience, including management responsibilities and construction or erection supervision site experience.
• At least 10 years of engineering underwriting experience with a primary insurance or reinsurance company.
• Proven experience leading and managing teams with diverse backgrounds.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills across organizational levels.
• Role based in Mexico City, Mexico.
