Focus on developing regional economic value propositions, navigating HTA and local access processes, and building a high-performing HEMA organization across LATAM and Canada.
Location: Hybrid role based in São Paulo, Brazil; Bogotá, Colombia; Las Condes, Chile; or Mexico City, Mexico.

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is transitioning its Orthopaedics business into DePuy Synthes, a standalone orthopaedics company focused on healthcare technologies and patient access.
What you will do
- Define and lead Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) strategy across LATAM and Canada.
- Lead regional market access, reimbursement, pricing, funding, and value strategies across the product lifecycle.
- Partner with Clinical & Medical Affairs, commercial teams, and global HEMA functions on evidence planning and regionally relevant value messages.
- Identify and execute scalable cross-regional initiatives that address access barriers and accelerate technology adoption.
- Provide guidance on HTA, pricing, reimbursement, and priority market access opportunities.
- Build, lead, develop, and retain the LATAM and Canada HEMA organization.
Requirements
- Experience leading Health Economics and Market Access activities across multiple markets.
- Knowledge of reimbursement, funding, pricing, HTA, and market access processes.
- Ability to develop evidence-based value propositions and support access optimization.
- Experience collaborating across country, regional, international, global, commercial, and medical teams.
- Leadership experience, including capability building, talent development, engagement, and succession planning.
- Ability to ensure compliance with HEMA standards, local regulations, quality requirements, and governance processes.
Nice to have
- Commercial awareness and competitive landscape analysis experience.
- Experience with health intelligence, market opportunity assessment, performance measurement, and strategic change.
- Experience delivering Health Economics and value training.
