Regional Manager & Sr. Director, Latin America (LATAM) (Public Health and Pharmaceuticals): Leading USPβs regional strategy, regulatory engagement, operations, partnerships, and sustainable growth across Latin America with an accent on public health impact, pharmaceutical quality standards, and multi-country leadership. Focus on managing P&L, engaging health authorities, building strategic partnerships, and developing high-performing teams across Brazil or Mexico.
Location: Brazil or Mexico; availability to travel across the LATAM territory by 30β40%.

What you will do
- Define and execute USPβs regional strategy for Latin America in alignment with global priorities and public health objectives.
- Lead engagement with health authorities, regulators, ministries of health, trade associations, academia, and public institutions.
- Drive regional revenue growth, commercial strategies, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial sustainability.
- Oversee regulatory compliance, quality systems, risk management, internal controls, crisis management, and issue resolution.
- Build and develop diverse, inclusive, high-performing teams across multiple countries.
- Develop strategic partnerships, support fundraising and donor-funded initiatives, and represent USP as a senior regional spokesperson.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, chemistry, public health, business, or a related field; an MBA or PhD is preferred.
- At least 15 years of progressive leadership experience, including senior management responsibility in Latin America.
- Experience in regulated pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or public health environments.
- Proven P&L management experience and leadership of complex, multi-country operations.
- Deep understanding of LATAM regulatory frameworks, health systems, and market dynamics.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English and advanced Spanish are required.
