Limited Energy Estimator III - ECSI (Electrical)

Location: Eagan, Minnesota office; hybrid work is available for candidates in the Minneapolis metro area, or fully remote for candidates elsewhere in the United States.

Pay range: $87,552–$121,600 per year.

What you will do

• Interpret civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage drawings and specifications.
• Prepare accurate estimates covering labor, materials, administrative costs, quotations, and subcontractors.
• Lead kickoff meetings, pre-bid and final bid reviews, job walks, customer interviews, and bid strategy discussions.
• Develop scopes of work, bid forms, leveling documents, assumptions, clarifications, and supporting documentation.
• Lead small estimating teams and assist with estimating resource scheduling and planning.
• Use estimating software to enter data, perform takeoffs, maintain revision records, and verify estimate checklists.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a two-year related degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical conceptual estimating, low-voltage estimating, National Electrical Code requirements, and design/build estimating preferred.
• Strong experience with computerized electrical estimating software; Accubid or Enterprise experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Bluebeam and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with strong mathematical skills.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, time management, multitasking, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively while meeting deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Accubid or Enterprise estimating software.
• Presentation experience.
• Experience developing training and mentorship programs.
