Remote Collaborative Practice Nurse / RN Sr (Oncology)

Location: Fully remote within the United States, or hybrid with on-site work based on business needs and location; travel to outlying clinics may be required.

Salary: $62,933.07–$96,824.00 per year.

What you will do

• Respond to patient calls, portal messages, and emails, assessing symptoms and treatment side effects.
• Use clinical pathways and computerized algorithms to determine urgency, manage symptoms, and document interventions in the EMR.
• Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to arrange clinic visits, emergency care, and follow-up interventions.
• Lead patient care conferences and communicate outcomes to the care team.
• Provide risk stratification, psychosocial assessments, emotional support, survivorship services, and advance care planning referrals.
• Support oral chemotherapy education and adherence, quality improvement, research, navigation metrics, mentoring, and care-gap closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s-prepared Registered Nurse; BSN preferred.
• At least 5 years of Registered Nurse experience; oncology experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, communication, active listening, organization, critical thinking, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to apply the full nursing process, including assessment, nursing diagnosis, care planning, implementation, and outcome evaluation.
• Ability to coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, work independently, and escalate complex cases appropriately.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft tools, internet applications, electronic medical records, and local community resources.

Nice to have

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification.
• Nurse Navigator certification.
