AI Product Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid, up to 50% work from home; open to Compeer locations in Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Base pay: $75,600–$114,200 USD annually, plus variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and refine a Now / Next / Later portfolio of AI-enabled opportunities grounded in client and business needs.
• Translate problems and jobs-to-be-done into hypotheses, experiments, and actionable insights.
• Design focused experiments that reduce uncertainty before significant investment and balance discovery with delivery.
• Define success measures and use qualitative and quantitative evidence to advance, adapt, or stop initiatives.
• Evaluate appropriate levels of AI autonomy, human oversight, controls, feasibility, value, security, risk, and responsible implementation.
• Turn learning into reusable AI practices, patterns, and guidance while partnering with product, technology, data, security, risk, and business teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 3+ years of product management experience.
• Ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity and transform unclear problems into actionable hypotheses and experiments.
• Strong Agile and Lean product instincts with an evidence-based, iterative approach.
• Experience managing an opportunity backlog and making data-driven decisions focused on business value.
• Understanding of AI product considerations, including data management, evaluation, reliability, security, human oversight, and responsible use, or strong willingness to learn.
