NPC Engineering Manager (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite

Salary: $120,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead engineering teams, projects, and programs from preliminary planning through completion.
• Define outcomes, milestones, viability studies, resource plans, costs, and delivery timelines.
• Oversee documentation, process development, product specifications, intellectual property, ISO, safety, and confidentiality requirements.
• Set departmental budgets and manage material and financial resources in alignment with annual operating plans.
• Assign work, coach subordinate staff, and support professional development.
• Lead research and development of manufacturing technologies and incorporate new processes, designs, and methodologies into products and services.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of concepts, theories, and principles in the relevant engineering job family.
• Understanding of the semiconductor industry and how the engineering function supports business objectives.
• Experience managing a generally homogeneous engineering team and adapting priorities to operational challenges.
• Ability to resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems.
• Ability to guide and influence stakeholders across related internal or external areas.
• Availability to work in Austin, Texas; the position is not relocation eligible.
