Director of Module Manufacturing

Location: San Jose, California, USA; onsite with no remote work available

Expected annual pay range: $196,000–$240,000, plus bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing quality for the module business across the full product lifecycle.
• Define and enforce quality standards, processes, and metrics across internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
• Own quality issues end-to-end, leading root-cause analysis, containment, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Align customer, vendor, supplier, and internal requirements for design, development, production, and delivery.
• Lead cross-functional teams and serve as the primary liaison to customer QA organizations.
• Manage external ISO/IATF audits and ensure non-conformances are resolved and closed.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product or quality engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams with strong communication, organizational, and people skills.
• Strong understanding of new product development, semiconductor supply chains, and production environments.
• Expertise in statistical analysis, structured problem-solving methods, and data-driven decision-making.
• Knowledge of commercial and automotive quality standards, including supplier excursions and customer escalations.
