hirify.global is a technology startup developing ultra-fast simulation technology for engineering applications including airplanes, cars, wind turbines, and quantum computing chips.

What you will do

  • Develop algorithms and software for physics simulation in electromagnetics, photonics, fluid dynamics, thermal analysis, and structural analysis.
  • Optimize GPU computing systems and scientific computing workflows.
  • Manage and visualize high-volume, large-scale scientific data.
  • Develop geometry handling and computing capabilities.
  • Apply AI to scientific computing and work on multi-physics and multi-scale problems.
  • Work with a senior technical mentor on challenging scientific computing problems.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate or graduating student in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
  • Exceptional C++ programming skills; extensive open-source contributions in other languages may offset limited C++ experience.
  • Background in electromagnetics, photonics, computational geometry, fluid mechanics, structural mechanics, aeroacoustics, conjugate heat transfer, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with numerical methods for large-scale partial differential equations.
  • Master’s degree or PhD in an applicable technical field and 0–3 years of industry experience.
  • Familiarity with Git, the Linux command line, MPI, OpenMP, and CUDA.
