Sr Vice President - Actuary

What you will do

• Develop proformas and evaluate business plans and new product opportunities for clients and prospects.
• Support carrier and reinsurer discussions to secure rating and underwriting approvals.
• Review contracts, analyze client projections, and conduct peer reviews of rate development.
• Prepare performance reports and client-specific analyses for reinsurance renewal strategies.
• Perform claims, trend, rate, benchmarking, completion factor, case reserve, and IBNR analyses.
• Support actuarial and underwriting projects involving data integration across medical and PBM claims systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant and progressively responsible actuarial experience.
• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and membership in the American Academy of Actuaries.
• Experience across health-related lines of business and products.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to apply actuarial concepts and calculations to complex and diverse situations.
• Advanced technical skills with expertise in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
