Senior Project Manager – Transmission & Distribution (Power Delivery)

Location: Neenah, Wisconsin; project-based assignments with travel and long-term onsite work required as needed

What you will do

• Lead large-scale transmission, distribution, and substation projects from pursuit, estimating, and bid development through construction and final closeout.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, procurement, quality, safety performance, risks, profitability, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate field operations with construction management and field leadership to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
• Serve as the primary contact for utility owners, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Manage contracts, change orders, claims, variations, project controls, forecasts, cost reports, and closeout activities.
• Supervise and mentor project managers and project staff while building accountable, high-performing multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, plus 7–10+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Demonstrated success managing utility, transmission, distribution, substation, or power delivery construction projects valued at $10 million or greater.
• Experience with contract administration, change management, estimating, project controls, and multidisciplinary team leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project scheduling software such as Primavera P6, HCSS, or Microsoft Project.
• Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, organizational, and client-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, willingness to travel, and willingness to support long-term onsite project assignments.

Nice to have

• PMP, PE, or another advanced professional certification.
• Experience with utility owners, cooperatives, municipalities, and investor-owned utilities.
• Background in overhead transmission, underground distribution, substation construction, or complex multidiscipline power delivery programs.
• Familiarity with MISO, SPP, ERCOT, PJM, or other regional transmission environments.
• Advanced contract negotiation, estimating, and business development experience.
