Quality Inspector (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite machine shop environment; Alpharetta, Georgia is identified as the company headquarters

Salary: $24.04–$28.85 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect manufactured products against applicable specifications.
• Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections of finished products.
• Review production travelers, material information, revisions, purchase orders, and quality documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Review internal files and revisions, and perform quality assurance reviews and audits.
• Calibrate and verify measurement gages and perform minor repairs.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience in a machine shop environment, or three years of related experience combined with relevant education and experience.
• Demonstrable ability to use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, optical comparators, and similar measurement tools.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, write, perform basic math, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to stand for long periods, use hands regularly, monitor machinery, work around moving mechanical parts and loud noise, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Keyence CMM.
• Experience in an ISO environment.
