Quality Inspector (Manufacturing)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 2nd shift Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

Compensation: $17.20–$31.90 per hour

What you will do

• Perform comprehensive product inspections using work instructions, checklists, drawings, and acceptance criteria.
• Use precision and non-precision gauges, meters, tools, and testing equipment to verify product conformance.
• Identify non-conforming products and initiate Non-Conformance Reports.
• Verify that no active NCRs remain before completing inspections.
• Prioritize inspection activities to support operational efficiency and departmental delivery goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in quality processes; Quality Management Systems experience is preferred.
• Experience with precision metal fabrication measurement tools and techniques is preferred.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, paint mil gauges, hardness testers, CMMs, measuring tables, optical comparators, and functional testers.
• Ability to interpret and apply Quality System and ISO procedures and documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., apply math and geometry, communicate effectively, and work independently.
