Quality Inspector - Weekday Day (CNC)

Location: On-site in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, United States. Shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Salary: $18.08–$22 per hour, plus an annual bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Measure CNC parts along X, Y, and Z axes and perform visual cosmetic inspections.
• Verify part counts, packaging accuracy, and order fulfillment against customer requirements.
• Enter process information into the computer, identify manufacturing and fulfillment quality issues, and determine whether orders are shippable.
• Coordinate corrective actions with supervisors and coworkers and communicate part-quality concerns to quality control staff and CQRs.
• Transport finished parts to shipping and provide feedback about production-floor training needs.
• Follow quality and safety procedures while maintaining an organized work area and improving work processes.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States under ITAR requirements: U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or foreign nationals with refugee or asylee status.
• Temporary visa holders, including E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, TN, and OPT holders, are not eligible.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail, basic arithmetic, and the ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to use computers, calculators, scales, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
• Ability to follow printed and computer-screen instructions, work safely with sharp tools, lift or move more than 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced team environment.
