What you will do

• Prepare and issue purchase orders and requisitions, including quantity-buying opportunities and bid quotations.
• Analyze supplier quotes, pricing, performance standards, terms, tolerances, and warranties.
• Research vendors and recommend the best suppliers for materials and services.
• Execute contracts within the authority limits established by Supply Chain management.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data, including lead times, open purchase orders, quality, and commitments.
• Coordinate with divisions and departments on order processing, shipping, delivery, quality, and customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer proficiency.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate contracts, terms, and supplier policies.
• Experience with eProcurement or eSourcing tools is desired.
• Relevant industry experience is desired.
• A valid driver’s license for the vehicles driven and an acceptable driving record are desired.
