What you will do

• Coordinate procurement activities from purchase intent through delivery.
• Analyze commodity requirements, specifications, preferred suppliers, and delivery dates.
• Solicit and evaluate supplier proposals and investigate potential vendors.
• Advise management and team members on supplier selection and negotiate cost, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Implement compliant purchase contracts and ensure on-time delivery at the negotiated price and required quality.
• Maintain order records, manage inventory liabilities, and coordinate cost-effective material distribution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to five years of professional buying experience in a manufacturing setting, or equivalent training.
• Ability to work consistently, regularly, predictably, and on time at the Laconia location.
• Ability to stand, walk, handle materials, reach, talk, and hear as required.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
