Solar Field Service Technician (Coyanosa, TX) (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Full-time onsite work at a jobsite in Coyanosa, Texas, with up to 10% travel for training, certifications, and site coverage.

Compensation: $25.02–$31.27 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform solar equipment maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, replacement, and repair under supervision.
• Use monitoring programs and testing equipment to support multiple solar plants.
• Respond to on-call requests for emergency equipment repairs, including weekends or after-hours situations.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles, equipment, tools, and property.
• Prepare accurate work documentation and reports.
• Suggest process improvements and coordinate implementation with EPC management.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Training or experience in a mechanical/electrical environment, including basic electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and solar plant systems knowledge.
• Ability to perform Lock Out/Tag Out on energized parts or systems and use basic testing equipment.
• Basic computer skills, effective organizational skills, and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills are required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future. A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record are also required.
