Mesquite Star - Service Technician (Wind Energy)

Location: Roscoe, Texas, United States; on-site work at the Mesquite Star wind farm.

What you will do

• Operate and maintain wind turbines safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Follow site safety protocols, maintain records, and promote accountability among personnel and contractors.
• Perform high-quality maintenance to improve turbine cleanliness, operation, reliability, and efficiency.
• Suggest continuous improvements to site processes and operations.

Requirements

• At least two years of wind industry experience with a high school diploma or GED; three or more years with an associate degree or trade school degree/certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to climb to heights of 250 feet or more and work in confined spaces.
• Body weight of 265 pounds or less to meet safety regulations.
• Ability to pass a physical examination confirming fitness for the job’s physical demands.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
