Field Service Technician I (Fuel Cell)

Location: Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite at a customer location

Pay rate: $24.50–$25.50 per hour

hirify.global provides fuel cell products used in electric lift trucks and related hydrogen fueling systems.

What you will do

• Maintain and service fuel cells at the customer site.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate fuel cell systems and fleet issues.
• Perform field retrofits, software and hardware upgrades, emergency repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and maintain high-pressure hydrogen storage, delivery, and fueling systems as required.
• Order tools, equipment, parts, and manage inventory for customer support.
• Complete work orders, incident reports, service logs, system documentation, and performance feedback while following field safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework; formal training may substitute for direct experience.
• At least three years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly without assistance and provide a standard personal tool set.
• General mechanical aptitude, computer skills, and proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, time management, reliability, and ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of lift truck operation and applications.
• Experience with hydrogen systems, H2 pads and dispensers, GenDrive models, batteries, and fueling equipment.
