Power Delivery Project Manager

What you will do

• Plan, develop, execute, and close out Power Delivery projects of varying size and complexity.
• Develop project scopes and proposals, build project teams, and manage execution, quality, schedules, budgets, and project controls.
• Coordinate engineers and multidisciplinary teams throughout the full project life cycle.
• Manage projects involving substations, system protection and planning, transmission lines, distribution lines, routing and siting, environmental permitting, right of way acquisition, and construction management.
• Lead QA/QC activities, provide client and technical support, and manage project risks and changes.
• Support business development, marketing, and proposal development; occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least 7 years of related experience, including a minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
• Strong organizational, project management, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with various design teams and independently manage project activities.
• Ability to direct, mentor, train, or supervise project engineers, transmission assistant project managers, and junior design staff.
• Commitment to active participation in an employee-owned culture.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer license or Engineer In Training certification with an active commitment to obtain a P.E. license.
• Project Management Professional certification or ability to obtain it.
