Industrial Electrician

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States; onsite at the Chattanooga facility. Multiple shifts are available: day shift Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; night shift Monday–Thursday, 5:00 p.m.–3:30 a.m.

What you will do

• Build and install switchgear and electrical components in custom-built metal equipment centers.
• Plan layouts and install wiring, electrical fixtures, switches, relays, and circuit breakers.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and engineered designs to meet customer specifications.
• Perform electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Use hand and power tools, forklifts, and material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow National Electrical Code requirements and company electrical standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least five years of experience in the electrical field or as an Electrical Helper.
• Experience with electrical systems, wiring, and control equipment.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, grinders, and saws, along with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding production work, including standing, bending, ladder work, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working around noise, dust, temperature changes, confined spaces, heights, and moving machinery.
