What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical and electronic equipment throughout a petrochemical manufacturing facility.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, controls, lighting, switchgear, transformers, buses, breakers, relays, and distribution systems.
• Install, splice, terminate, test, and repair low- and medium-voltage systems, feeders, conduit, wiring, and cable trays.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, loop sheets, isometric drawings, and technical manuals.
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency meters, and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot controls and motor-related issues.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and craft personnel, support emergency and shift coverage, and cross-train in Instrument Technician responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Electrical state license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical experience in petrochemical, chemical, refining, manufacturing, or a similar industrial environment.
• Experience with low- and medium-voltage equipment, switchgear, transformers, breakers, relays, splicing, motors, controls, and distribution systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation, with working knowledge of AC and DC systems.
• Ability to work onsite in a hazardous industrial environment and follow all safety and compliance requirements.

Nice to have

• Associate of Science degree in Electrical Technology or a related field.
• Experience with petrochemical or chemical processing facilities, flare ignition systems, BMS systems, or advanced industrial control systems.
• Instrumentation experience or willingness to cross-train as an Instrument Technician.
• Experience maintaining mobile equipment electrical systems and working in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
