TL;DR

Location: Ritzville, Washington, United States; onsite at a wind site

Salary: $41,600–$90,000 USD per year, depending on job level, location, skills, experience, education, training, and certifications. Eligible for an annual cash bonus.

What you will do

  • Assist with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance, repair, and replacement on wind turbines.
  • Maintain safe, efficient, and reliable turbine operation while following site safety procedures.
  • Troubleshoot SCADA communication systems and complex turbine component problems at higher levels.
  • Document completed work, parts used, and time spent through computer-based service reporting systems.
  • Perform electrical testing, read schematics and wiring diagrams, and safely execute LOTO procedures.
  • Support site operations, balance-of-plant and switchyard work, and mentor or lead lower-level technicians as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, or willingness to obtain one within the first six months of employment.
  • Able to work onsite in Ritzville, Washington, climb towers up to 300 feet, work in confined spaces, and operate safely in adverse climates.
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, ability to travel, and ability to operate and maintain a service vehicle.
  • Mechanical aptitude, ability to use hand tools, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible on-call schedules, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
  • No visa sponsorship or other employment-authorization sponsorship is available now or in the future.

Nice to have

  • Previous SAP experience.
  • Electrical construction, utility, power-generation, or electrician experience for Level I and above.
  • Associate’s degree in electrical or technical studies and relevant turbine experience for Level II and III.
