Solar Field Service Technician (Haskell, TX)

Location: Full-time onsite at a jobsite in Haskell, Texas, with work at remote solar plant locations and on-call availability.

Salary: $22.00–$31.00 per hour

What you will do

• Service solar equipment at multiple solar plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, monitoring, maintenance, and repair of solar equipment.
• Operate, care for, and maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Respond to on-call requests, including emergency repairs during weekends or after-hours.
• Prepare accurate work documentation and required reports.
• Suggest process improvements, collaborate on new technologies, and coordinate implementation with EPC management.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Training or experience in a mechanical or electrical environment, with basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Basic understanding of solar installations, testing equipment, and computer operation.
• Ability to identify and perform effective Lock Out/Tag Out of energized systems and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• Ability to work at remote outdoor locations in extreme weather, participate in on-call work, lift 50 pounds or more, and operate a company vehicle with a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
