Solar Field Service Technician (McCamey, TX)

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite in McCamey, TX; the posting also lists Fort Stockton, TX.

Compensation: $25.02–$31.27 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform supervised maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of solar equipment across multiple solar plants.
• Operate, maintain, and care for company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Respond to on-call requests, including emergency equipment repairs during weekends or after-hours.
• Prepare accurate service documentation and required work reports.
• Suggest process improvements, collaborate on new technologies, and coordinate implementation with EPC management.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Training or experience in a mechanical or electrical environment, including basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Basic understanding of solar plants, testing equipment, computer operations, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, ability to operate a company vehicle, and willingness to travel up to 10% for training and site coverage.
