Solar Field Service Technician (Victoria, TX)

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite in Victoria, Texas, United States. Ability to work at remote job locations in extreme weather conditions, respond on call, and travel up to 10% for training, certifications, and site coverage.

Salary: $25.02–$31.27 per hour

What you will do

• Service solar equipment across multiple solar plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring of solar equipment.
• Replace or repair solar parts and equipment under supervision.
• Operate and care for company equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Respond to emergency equipment repairs on an on-call basis, including weekends or after hours.
• Prepare accurate work documentation and reports, and suggest process or technology improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Mechanical or electrical environment experience through formal training or previous work.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and solar plant systems.
• Ability to perform effective Lock Out/Tag Out procedures on energized parts and systems.
• Basic knowledge of testing equipment and computer operation.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship, plus a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
