Warehouse Shift Supervisor (Logistics)

What you will do

• Supervise warehouse, shipping, receiving, inbound, outbound, cross-dock, and yard activities during assigned shifts.
• Plan shipping schedules, trailer flow, dock capacity, and domestic and export freight routing.
• Lead, coach, schedule, and develop warehouse associates while balancing labor against workload.
• Train new hires, conduct shift-start meetings, and reinforce standard operating procedures.
• Enforce OSHA regulations, safety policies, PPE requirements, and safe equipment operation.
• Verify bills of lading, export documentation, U.S. Customs compliance, inventory transactions, cycle counts, and operational KPIs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; an Associate degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of warehouse or distribution center experience.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material-handling equipment.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed.
