Material Handler III (Defense Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot stock-out issues and coordinate material flow through the distribution center.
• Receive and accurately enter purchase orders containing inventory into the system.
• Pick, package, and ship items while preventing damage in transit.
• Manage receiving discrepancies with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Identify and locate warehouse parts, perform cycle counts, and conduct safety, parts, systems, and process audits.
• Prepare bills of lading and delivery forms, communicate with customers and management, and support training and special projects.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in shipping, receiving, or a related area.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• General knowledge of Material Requirement Planning systems.
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Applicants may need to be U.S. Persons for positions involving controlled goods and technologies.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and other web-based software applications.
• Experience with order picking, swing reaching, high-volume warehouses, and automated systems.
