Field Technician

Location: Beaufort, South Carolina, United States; field work and travel may be required

What you will do

• Install customer service drops and outlets at residential and business properties.
• Use electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools to troubleshoot reception and service issues.
• Diagnose and repair problems from customer equipment through the first distribution amplifier.
• Verify proper upstream and downstream signal levels at customer premises.
• Recommend service upgrades and educate customers about new and existing equipment.
• Travel as needed; per diem is provided.

Requirements

• Valid South Carolina driver's license and a good driving record.
• At least 3 months of customer service or related experience and/or training; equivalent education and experience may be accepted.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work overtime and be on call as needed.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, lift up to 100 pounds, use ladders, and work in all weather conditions.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
