Fab Process Development Technician 3 (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Beaverton, Oregon, United States; onsite. Full-time schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Pay: $21.90–$28.77 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

• Process thin-film substrates through metal etching, plating, photolithography, and other fabrication operations.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate specialized equipment while tracking products through process cycles.
• Conduct final substrate inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collect, organize, and analyze statistical process control data.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and product quality.
• Author and edit process instructions, achieve subject matter expertise in a fabrication department, and train other technicians.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Experience with chemical handling, process procedures, safety procedures, microscopes, mechanical equipment, data evaluation, and process improvement.
• Ability to follow complex system-driven commands and workflows accurately.
• Ability to work extended periods in a cleanroom while wearing full protective equipment and handling chemicals.
• Ability to work at a microscope for prolonged periods, up to approximately 80% of a shift.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 6 lbs and push or pull materials weighing up to 10–15 lbs.
