Manufacturing Technician lll (Semiconductor)

Location: Gloucester, Massachusetts, United States; onsite cleanroom work required.

Salary: $23.00–$31.40 per hour

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electromechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists.
• Perform electromechanical assembly, troubleshooting, repairs, and process improvements.
• Receive and audit parts, verify availability, and inspect components for defects.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies.
• Complete job documentation and data entry, and perform programming, repairs, or software installations as needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and serve as an informal resource for junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree.
• 2–4 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
• Related technical training and certifications.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding cleanroom environment, including standing, lifting, working in tight spaces, and operating hand tools or heavy machinery.
• Ability to use required personal protective equipment and distinguish between colors.

Nice to have

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Experience acting as a peer leader and trainer.
• Proficiency in semiconductor manufacturing concepts and processes.
• ASSEET or BSEET qualification, including DeVry or TSTC training.
