IT Operations Engineer - NFL NYC

Location: Onsite in New York City, United States

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage and maintain Windows, Linux, and Unix server environments.
• Administer AWS, Azure, O365, VMware, and containerization environments.
• Operate and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, wireless controllers, firewalls, and routing.
• Monitor network reliability and performance using SolarWinds and DataDog.
• Lead network-related incident resolution, meet SLAs, and escalate issues when required.
• Maintain secure networking solutions, backup and disaster recovery systems, topology maps, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Cisco Nexus, Arista, Meraki, Cisco Wireless Controllers, Windows, Linux, and Unix.
• Experience in NOC operations and the ServiceNow ticketing system.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, O365, VMware, virtualization, and containerization.
• Experience supporting Rubrik and Zerto backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience with firewalls, routing protocols, network monitoring, automation, and scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience; CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, or related certifications are preferred.

Nice to have

• Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting for server and cloud operations.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, and cloud networking.
• Experience with capacity planning, performance tuning, advanced video streaming technologies, and CDNs.
