Machine Operator-Forming

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States; onsite, 3rd shift

Salary: $22.00 per hour starting wage, plus up to $2.00 per hour shift differential; potential earnings up to $24.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate Shuster forming machinery according to production schedules and customer requirements.
• Set up machines, change tooling, and adjust equipment to production specifications.
• Load raw materials and monitor production runs for efficiency and product quality.
• Inspect finished products with calipers, gauges, tape measures, and other measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot minor machine and process issues to reduce downtime.
• Follow safety procedures, maintain an organized work area, and support continuous improvement and waste reduction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of manufacturing, machine operation, metal forming, or production experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Mechanical proficiency, troubleshooting ability, basic math, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift and perform bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed.
