Machine Operator I (Precision Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Oxford, Maine, United States

What you will do

• Operate at least one production machine or manufacturing cell independently and safely.
• Perform material cutting, facing, straightening, drilling, polishing, bore blasting, and inventory handling.
• Track machine time and production activity using the kiosk clocking system.
• Complete required quality inspections and sign-offs throughout production.
• Monitor production and report quality, material, or equipment concerns immediately.
• Coordinate with supervisors, inspectors, and coworkers to maintain efficient workflow and a safe, organized work area.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions, mechanical drawings, and blueprints.
• Basic math skills and the ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to quality, safety, and production standards.
• Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new machinery and processes.
