Sr. Transportation Analyst

What you will do

• Manage domestic and international freight movements across multiple transportation modes.
• Coordinate carrier selection, routing, RFQs, bids, and contract evaluations.
• Monitor container activity, including demurrage and detention exposure, and communicate risks.
• Analyze transportation spending, carrier performance, and service metrics.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs to support data-driven decisions.
• Lead or support continuous improvement and transportation optimization projects while collaborating with Supply Chain, Distribution, Finance, and logistics providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience.
• Experience with domestic and international transportation operations.
• Working knowledge of customs compliance and freight regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and support process standardization.

Nice to have

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar tools.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, OTM, or other transportation management systems.
• Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and transportation analytics.
