Sr. Logistics Coordinator

Location: Romeoville, Illinois, United States — Distribution Center; onsite

Salary: $22.00–$29.00 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate inbound container shipments from international vendors with corporate logistics.
• Schedule outbound customer shipments and transfers to other company warehouses.
• Prepare customs clearance and country-of-origin documents for international shipments.
• Maintain incoming shipment data on the daily production schedule and receive purchase-order materials into M3.
• Support shipping, receiving, customer service, and finance with shipment documents, airfreight quotes, and shipping arrangements.
• Coordinate customer-arranged pickups and urgent Hot Shot shipments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent logistics-related experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a logistics-related role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Customer-oriented approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work onsite at the Romeoville distribution center.
