Sr Specialist MT, Brokerage (Logistics)

What you will do

• Manage high-value shipper accounts, maintain customer relationships, and identify upselling opportunities.
• Use carrier networks and market expertise to negotiate freight rates, secure capacity, and drive profitable deals.
• Execute the full shipment lifecycle, including booking, dispatch, tracking, tracing, and disruption resolution.
• Analyze market trends, seasonality, capacity, and transportation performance to improve pricing and service design.
• Assess carrier eligibility using safety ratings, insurance coverage, and performance data while applying FMCSA regulations and internal risk policies.
• Partner with operations, finance, and legal teams on service agreements and complex issue resolution while mentoring junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field plus 4 years of experience; or an associate degree plus 6 years of experience; or 8 years of experience.
• Established, active relationships with shippers or carriers are preferred.
• Strong persuasion, analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with CRM or financial reporting software.
• Proficiency with transportation management systems and CRM software.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; the employer participates in the U.S. E-Verify program.
