Transportation Analyst (Automotive)

Location: Cleveland, OH, United States; onsite

Base pay range: $71,604–$85,680 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate daily transportation activities across distribution centers, carriers, corporate teams, and field teams.
• Manage carrier relationships, contracted rates, KPIs, delivery performance, service levels, and transportation budgets.
• Audit freight accounts and collaborate with Finance on payment accuracy, accruals, and GL coding.
• Analyze routes and transportation alternatives to reduce costs, improve reliability, and maintain or improve delivery service.
• Create executive-level reporting, transportation SOPs, ROI analyses, and recommendations for service and cost improvements.
• Support carrier selection, network design, and delivery planning for new or relocated distribution centers; lead a continuous improvement project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least five years of hands-on logistics and/or transportation experience, including daily operations.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards, vehicle-routing tools, and other transportation software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and internet tools.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel by air and automobile approximately 10% of the time and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

• Experience with parcel shipping and specialized regional courier delivery carriers.
