Analyst - Financial Planning and Analysis (SaaS)

Location: US - Boston; hybrid role based in or near Boston with regular in-person collaboration.

What you will do

• Support the CFO and Head of FP&A with financial analysis, reporting, and ad hoc projects.
• Maintain and improve financial models, dashboards, and internal reports used for business decisions.
• Clean and analyze large or imperfect datasets in Excel and Google Sheets using formulas, pivot tables, and lookups.
• Explore how AI tools can complement traditional financial analysis and improve reporting speed.
• Assist with FP&A, accounting, finance, and operational process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations and reports and conduct research and benchmarking.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within a SaaS or subscription-based technology company.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups.
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills, with a commitment to accurate and secure handling of sensitive financial data.
• Self-starter mindset, ownership, adaptability, and collaborative communication skills.
• Based in or near Boston and willing to participate in the in-person workplace community.
