Junior Financial Analyst (Fintech)

Location: 100% onsite in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Remote weeks are available around major holidays, but this is not a remote opportunity.

Growth-stage fintech startup developing payment, e-commerce, credit-building, and credit card products for consumers with subprime credit.

What you will do

• Support financial modeling for existing operations and key business initiatives.
• Lead strategic ad hoc projects and analyses in partnership with Analytics, Risk, Marketing, and Operations.
• Assist with general ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation.
• Improve financial planning and budget management processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Analyze business trends and communicate complex financial information clearly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, completed in 2024–2026, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, including core functions, formatting, lookup and analysis tools, and pivot tables.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with careful attention to detail.
• Motivation to learn, develop, and take ownership of work.
• Ability to work onsite in Philadelphia, United States.
