Senior Interior Design Coordinator

What you will do

• Collaborate across programming, conceptual and schematic design, documentation, and construction administration.
• Develop interior design concepts for commercial and healthcare projects with architects, project managers, and designers.
• Create renderings, visual presentations, finish plans, specifications, material selections, and implementation documentation.
• Coordinate design development, construction documents, furnishings, purchases, RFIs, and submittals with the broader project team.
• Present designs to clients and internal stakeholders, and communicate requirements to vendors, contractors, fabricators, and furniture dealers.
• Mentor junior interior designers and support business development, proposals, and repeat-client opportunities.

Requirements

• Degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in healthcare interior design.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of building codes, sustainable design principles, Target Value Design, and Evidence Based Design.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate and present design concepts clearly.
• Ability to work from the Atlanta office.

Nice to have

• Professional certification or registration such as NCIDQ or LEED.
